Raleigh’s Top Wedding Professionals Introduce: A Fabulously Festive Christmas Wedding
It’s that time of year! All of the warm festive feelings are in the air, especially love. Christmas is our favorite time of year and also the time of year when decorating is the most fun! Consequently, festive holiday decor is what inspired Forever Bridal Wedding Pros to collaborate on this Christmas Wedding Styled Shoot!
John and Natasha, the dynamic duo that is Fords Fluent N’ Food, were the driving force behind this Christmas wedding styled shoot. With the help of some awesome Raleigh wedding vendors, they pulled off this beautiful wedding, rich with decor, food and lots of love and laughter. Tracy Timmester, of Timmester Photography, captured every detail of the day.
Setting the Scene
Christmas time brings up feelings of warmth and coziness. Morris Peaceland Farm was the perfect backdrop for this rustic holiday styled shoot. The 13-acre farm features an updated barn with bridal suite, kitchen, bathrooms and reception area. The pond within the middle of the farm, features a water fountain which makes a beautiful ceremony backdrop. Morris Peaceland Farm is a picturesque wedding venue in the heart of Raleigh. Although, this venue gives the feeling of a beautiful secluded countryside, it is just minutes from downtown! Cassie, the horse, even made an appearance for a few photos.
The Bride’s Style
Parlor Dry Bar and Fresh Faced Floral provided hair and makeup for the bride as well as the wedding guests! Davids’ Bridal dressed the bride in a simple, yet beautiful and elegant white satin ballgown with a plunging neckline and ruched waist. Joint Venture Jewelry had the bride dripping with vintage diamonds and emeralds.
The Groom’s Style
As for the groom, he was dressed head to toe by SF Tailors. He wore a wine colored jacket with a black lapel. His white button down shirt was accented with a black stripe down the middle and accompanied by a black bow tie. His trousers were black highlighted by a wine colored stripe down the side to match his suit jacket. In addition, the groom wore a wedding band also provided by Joint Venture Jewelry.
Dinner is Served
Scrumptious food was featured throughout the entire day. Chef John prepared a festive feast featuring everything from delicious appetizers, to an exquisite full-course meal with heavenly sides to delectable and savory desserts. Chef’s state-of-the-art cuisine was enjoyed by all. First was the Pomegranate Salad, sweet and tangy, topped with goat cheese and candied pecans. Next came the family style meal for all to enjoy. On the table, there were Lemon-Rosemary roasted red potatoes and green beans sautéed with white wine and garlic to complement the Lemon-Rosemary roasted chickens and freshly made challah bread. The bride and groom enjoyed a Surf N’ Turf made for a King and Queen! The filet mignon was served with bleu cheese mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and topped with a Carolina crab cake with two shrimp kissing at the top! lastly, no Christmas wedding is complete without candycane cookies!
Save Room for Dessert
The Sweetest Things provided a three-layer cake for dessert. The bride and groom cut into the vanilla, chocolate and carrot cake flavored masterpiece. Melanie adorned the cake with jubilant Poinsettias provided by Day Spring Flowers. Other festive flowers featured were red roses found in the brides bouquet and in the groom’s boutonniere.
Delightful Decor
Homemade Bride and CE Rental added a touch of holiday cheer with elegant glasses, dishes and cakes stands. Furthermore, the simple yet stately gold candle votives surrounding the cake added the perfect touch of romance.
Saying Goodbye in Style
Classy Transportation provided a 1920’s Excalibur to whisk the bride and groom away in style. The couple’s getaway car was outfitted with the perfect Christmas wedding accessory, a Santa hat!
A HUGE thank you to all the wedding experts who made this day monumental. Styled shoots bring talents and expertise of all kinds together. The participating wedding pros are very passionate about this industry, and it truly showed through the pictures.
