Joy-Filled Weddings offers a non-denominational minister officiating weddings of all types: religious, spiritual and secular. I work with all couples, traditional and LGBTQ+ and I encourage couples to explore their heart for the type of ceremony they desire. My goal is for you to have a fun and joyful experience. I help you relax so you can truly be present at the ceremony that will give you many happy memories for years to come.
I am a Raleigh, NC native. I have been involved in the Spiritual Community in this area since 1987 when I began studying the Course in Miracles and became a Reiki I practitioner. My life changed suddenly a few years ago when I lost my husband of 17 years. I knew my seven-year-old son and I needed a new direction in our lives. Before coming out of the spiritual closet, I worked in biochemistry and public health labs for 35 years. I became an Ordained Minister several years ago. I found that officiating weddings was a true joy to me and it became my passion. I enjoy working with all types of couples and all types of ceremonies – one of my favorites was being a Medieval Friar officiating a Medieval Wedding in a castle!
