KStar’s Photography

I’m Krissie. I’m from a small town in Western New York.  I relocated to Louisiana where KStar Photography was born. My love of adventure brought me to Raleigh in 2015 where my business planted roots and where I currently reside!

Life has a way of putting you exactly where you need to be. I’ve been in many weddings as a photographer, bridesmaid, wedding planner, and twice as an acting minister (I know, right?!). I believe all of this has uniquely equipped me to understand and capture the wonderful emotions of the day from many different perspectives. My greatest pleasure in life is to photograph beauty and love is the greatest beauty of all!

My favorite part of being a photographer (second to making new friends) is experiencing and capturing the emotions. You know, those “I can’t believe that’s my bride”, “Is that really my baby girl stepping into her wedding dress?”, “I can’t imagine loving a group of friends more” kind of moments. There’s magic in those moments and my heart races just thinking about capturing them for you. At KStar Photography, what is my ultimate goal? Delivering an experience as a result of an event, not just a bunch of great pictures.
