The 2015 Southern Bridal Show and Expo was a grand success! We owe this year’s fun to all of our wonderful brides and vendors.
Our fall Southern Bridal Show and Expo was held on August 8th and 9th at the Jim Graham building at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. There was something for everyone who came out, and the variety did not disappoint. Our vendors ranged from photographers, florists, and caterers to travel agents, planners, and cake decorators. We also had vendors representing venues, beauty, salons and formalwear. Gigi’s Cupcakes also added some of their annual extra sweetness to the event.
As with every bridal show, we hosted our hallmark fashion show. This year it was emceed by Mike “Mad Dawg” Biddle from Morse Entertainment and Pulse FM. Our beautiful models sashayed down the runway in dresses and gowns from Savvi Formal Wear and David’s Bridal, and rocked the catwalk with every step of their iconic red shoes from Models for Charity. The men, handsome as ever, surprised us by looking devilishly attractive in their suits and tuxedos from Men’s Warehouse and Savvi Formal Wear. They also gave out a few bottles of One Hope Wine to some lucky brides.
To add to the fun and break any ice that remained, we had a blast playing some interactive games with the brides and their grooms. There was even a Mother/Daughter Dance Off too.
