Airy, natural and elegant: Pinup Studio wants to make every NC bride feel beautiful

Every bride deserves to feel special on their big day, and after months of planning and organizing the special event, it all comes down to the final details. Pinup Studio is a hair and makeup studio located in Raleigh, North Carolina with a team that specializes in bridal hair and makeup. 

Showcasing Pinup Studio’s talent

Recently, Pinup Studio held a photoshoot to showcase their hair and makeup artists’ range of skills. The photoshoot took place at Traine in the historic Seaboard Railroad Station in downtown Raleigh. The shoot’s airy look and feel felt right at home at the elegant venue and looked stunning with the lavender, orange and pink color palette.

Pinup Studio’s bridal team selected five diverse models to participate in the styled photoshoot and gave them a full bridal treatment of hair, make-up, lashes, and brows. The hair and makeup artists chose to give each model a natural glam look in order to highlight their natural beauty.

“We love the idea of keeping our bride’s natural beauty and playing on it,” said a Pinup bridal team member. “Makeup doesn’t always have to be about covering imperfections or flaws. It can also be about enhancing natural beauty and bringing your best features to life.”

By selecting a diverse set of models, Pinup Studio wanted to emphasize the importance of being able to make everyone feel beautiful on their wedding day regardless of race, ethnicity, size, gender or sexuality.

Dressed to impress

This photoshoot could not have been done without the help of bridal boutique Zebulon-based bridal boutique Simply Blush Bridal, one of our featured vendors. For this look, the models wore a variety of gorgeous wedding gowns for individual portraits and pink silk pajamas for fun group shots.
